How do professionals clean the floor grout?

Floor grout is something you never clean in your regular clean. As the passage the time your grout lines gets darker. Some people ask me about how to clean the grout in proper way. In this article I am telling you few methods to do the clean. Every method has its own specialty and make sure use the right method according to your tiles .Choose the method that is right for you

1.Clean the floor grout with simple brush, dish soap and water

Simply clean the grout with a mix the drops of dishwashing soap with water in bottle and spray on grout. Use the grout brush for scrubbing .Wipe the grout with clean microfiber clothe.

2.Clean the floor grout with baking soda and vinegar

Remember: Don’t use vinegar on marble or limestone

products needed: Baking soda 2 spoons, vinegar1/2 with 1/2 water, dishwashing soap, grout brush, microfiber clothe

Simply take 2 bottles. Mix the 2 spoons of baking soda, few drops of dish soap with water in first bottle and spray on grout and leave it few minutes. Use a 1/2 vinegar with water and spray on grout it will start bubbling. The bubbling is the result of a chemical reaction between the baking soda and vinegar. Scrub it with grout brush and wipe it with microfiber cloth.

3 Clean the grout with oxygen bleach powder

To clean the grout , just add a 1 spoon of the powder and add to some boiling water. The boiling water really activates it . Apply this mixture to grout with a cleaning toothbrush or grout brush , it should be soaking wet. Leave the mixture for thirty minutes on the grout, and don’t let it dry. Use a wet microfiber clothes to remove the solution

4 Clean the grout with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide

Add two parts baking soda with one part hydrogen peroxide and apply with toothbrush or grout brush. Allow it to sit few minutes and then scrub clean with the grout brush. Wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth. Wash the area nicely to get rid of residue behind

NOTE: This method may also cause damage to tiles due to the bleaching oxygen ions that are released. Firstly test it out on a small area.
