The ultimate guide to clean bathroom tiles & grout

Bathroom cleaning is tough if we compare to other parts of the house. No one likes to clean that we need extra energy to get rid of soap scum, tiles and other water stain.

Bathroom tiles grout is not easy job to do, It build up quickly as the time passes. Beautiful tiles makes the bathroom looks stunning. There are few different ways to prevent the black stain and grime from the grout. The easiest way to do to hire someone professional but that may cost you money each time. I can show you few ways to clean the grout. Mostly people have ceramic, porcelain ,lime stones and marble tiles at home. It is easy to clean ceramic and porcelain tiles but you don’t have to use vinegar and bleach to clean the limestone and marble tiles. Never use cleaners that are acidic that may damage to your tiles

For the marble tiles or limestone just mix few drops of dish soap with water to clean the tiles or tiles grout and rinse it off

1 A natural way to clean the ceramic or porcelain tiles

Tiles Grout : Bicarbonate soda, water, vinegar, grout brush. Mix 2 parts of bicarbonate soda with water. Apply that mixture on tiles grout. Spray the vinegar on the grout lines it will start bubbling. Once the solution stops foaming, Use a grout brush to scrub it and then rinse with water.

Tiles Surface

  • Get one spray bottle and fill half with vinegar and water
  • Use spray bottle to spray on your shower walls or tiles
  • Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes or so.
  • Use the soft toothbrush for edges
  • Rinse and repeat as necessary
  • Mostly it work with dishwashing and vinegar mixture but if you still see the soap scum on tiles. Sprinkle baking soda on your sponge to scrub the tiles with a non-scratch sponge, Rinse with water to clean the tiles

2) Dirty grout- clean with bleach

Needed: bleach, water, grout brush

Apply the bleach on grout lines. use a grout brush to clean the grout lines . Rinse with water and wipe with microfiber clothes

3) Clean the grout with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide

This mixture is pretty useful to clean the tiles surface. Add two parts baking soda with one part hydrogen peroxide and apply with toothbrush or grout brush. Allow it to sit few minutes and then scrub clean with the grout brush. Rinse the bathroom grout line properly .Wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth.
